- Rename VMs — Rename VMs to group or sort some of the columns in the tree view.
- Manage VM Snapshots — Preserve the state of a VM so that you can return to that state any time you want without creating multiple VMs.
- Manage Kubernetes Resources — View and manage the configuration of resources in a Kubernetes namespace.
- Connect VM Media — Connect or disconnect CD/DVD drives and assign datastores.
- Set Values for Custom Attributes — Provide extra information about a service in an attribute set up by your system administrator.
- Set Ownership — Manage the owners of a service.
- Set Service Expiry Dates — Specify the date when a service is no longer required.
- Set the End of Life State — Let your system administrator know that you no longer need a service.
- Manage Cloud Software License Costs — View whether your deployed resources are making use of existing Windows Server or SQL Server license entitlements. And if required, enable the Azure Hybrid Benefit.
What you can see and do in the Service Portal depends on the permissions associated with the role that your administrator has assigned you. It may also depend on whether you've been granted ownership of services, deployed resources, or virtual services. Unless otherwise noted, the provided procedures assume that you have the highest level of permissions and ownership of relevant resources and virtual services.
